Over the past few years, I’ve worked intensely on my own creative projects including my book “Closer to Indigo” and the documentary series “Saanich: Emerging Land; Emerging People.”
What I’ve loved most isn’t just finishing them, it’s getting into the creative zone of: shaping ideas, finding the narrative thread, and bringing to life something that started out in the messy and intuitive corners of my imagination.
I’m now opening space to support other people’s creative projects. I work with writers, artists and creatives on:
• Narrative direction
• Shaping authentic and insight-based writing
• Organizing ideas, research and raw material
• Copyediting and proofreading
• How to tap into intuition
• How to use supporting tools thoughtfully
• And my favourite –> Getting past creative blocks with brainstorming games
Yes, I use AI as a supporting tool — not as a shortcut or “done-for-you” solution, but as a modern way to help organize and clarify material.
I know many people criticize AI writing for lacking emotional depth — and they’re right because after all, emotion, intuition, and lived experience are human territory.
And that’s exactly where I come in! Story, meaning and emotions are my world. I balance human experience and insight with the best tools available to keep the creative process moving forward, without sacrificing depth, voice or heart.
My work is project-based and collaborative.
