I just came back home to Canada after my whirlwind trip to England to attend the Hay House Writer’s Workshop in London.
I’m so glad and grateful I went and after the inspiring workshop where I met some of today’s leading spiritual authors, I continued my writer’s pilgrimage and visited friends in Stratford Upon Avon (Shakespeare Land), Cheshire (Alice in Wonderland) and Haworth (Brontë Sisters Land) and am just brimming with ideas!
It’s amazing how this adventure all came together without me consciously trying to make it happen – I just let things unfold and the surprises kept delightfully showing up along the way!
This photo is of me on the moors that inspired such classics as “Wuthering Heights” and “Jane Eyre.”
I had so much fun time travelling back in the footsteps of authors I studied in my English Literature classes at Western University in London, Ontario and I’m thinking of creating a writer’s retreat based on these locations sometime in the near future.
If you’re interested in joining me, let me know and I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, I’m going to include the highlights of this trip in my next book! Stay tuned!
