Hello November!

November has 30 days, its main zodiac sign is Scorpio, its birthflower is the chrysanthemum and its birthstones are Topaz and Citrine.

November is the 11th month of the year and is therefore associated with the number 11; however, November was originally the 9th month of the year in the calendar of Romulus (c. 750 BC) and “novem” means “9” in Latin.

Eleven is a prime number in math. It’s also considered a Master Number and is often called ‘the Illuminator,’ ‘the Messenger’ or ‘the Teacher’ and relates to those who are here to be inspirational guiding lights. Eleven resonates with the principles of spiritual awakening, enlightenment, inspiration, intuition, enthusiasm, creativity, self-expression, sensitivity, peace and mysticism, and tells us to connect with our higher-selves and be true to our soul mission and life purpose.

Meanwhile, Scorpio’s are extremely clairvoyant and intuitive and Scorpio is a water sign that derives its strength from the psychic, emotional realm. This sign is also associated with the scorpion, the snake and the eagle and it’s colors are deep red, maroon, black and brown.

My crystal picks for the month of November are:

1. SNAKESKIN AGATE: has markings that make it look like the skin of a snake. It keeps us grounded, calm and centered and brings a sense of inner peace by helping us manage our emotions.

2. BLUE TOPAZ: is the color of the expansive ocean and the sky. It helps us see the bigger picture, open up to our creativity, increase our appreciation for all of our talents and helps us feel free to follow our life’s purpose.

3. CITRINE: This bright yellow crystal is known as the “merchant’s stone” and helps us acquire and maintain wealth.

4. RHODOCHROSITE: is a swirly pink and white crystal that harmonizes physical and spiritual energies. It also opens our heart, lifts depression and encourages a cheerful outlook. It also improves self-worth, soothes stress and boosts creativity.

All in all, November is a very spiritual month!
